Waveplus Systems Ltd & The Meteor Flight
This site was developed by Andrew Broxholme of Waveplus Systems Ltd. We are a consultancy dedicated to the development and support of Lotus Notes & Domino applications. The site was originally developed as a static html site for the Meteor Flight to support and publicise their project to restore Gloster Meteor T7, WA591 to airworthiness.
A great deal of research went into the initial development of the site and it become a comprehensive historical resource on early jet aircraft development in which the Meteor was central. I was pleased to be able to support the project but they have never funded the site or its development in any way and the domain name has always been under my direct control.
The project to restore WA591 continues in partnership with Air Atlantique who will share ownership of the aircraft with the Meteor Flight Operations who controlled the original group throughout my membership as a member of the group. I will continue to publish project updates but rely on them to provide me with information and now also support other projects by publishing restoration news as its received.
