Early Progress on WA591
The project to restore WA591 to an airworthy state started many years ago. Here are some early photos after the aircraft arrived at Yatesbury and as it was dismantled into its major components. I have also added two photos showing the inside of the engine nacelles on WL360 to demonstrate where the condition of the airframe even after years of inside storage. The fire warning sensors and engine starter are clearly visible and were the first electrical component restored to WA591.
If anyone has additional photos of WA591 early on in its rebuild I would appreciate them being sent in. The date they were taken is important including those you can see above which were supplied by founder member Mark Jones, they probably date back to around 1996/ 1997.
