Meteor Restoration Projects
WL405 Hooton Park
Meteor T7, WL405 has now moved to Hooton park after being sold to Mike Davey, the owner of WK914. It joined WK914 in December along with a large quantity of F8 & T7 Meteor spares. WL405 was in storage at Yatesbury with the Meteor Flight until its brief ownership by Martin Garrett at Bruntingthorpe.
WK914 Hooton Park
Meteor F8, WK914 is owned by Mike Davey who has been working long-term to restore it to at least ground running state. Its now moved back to Hooton Park from Millom.
WA591 Kemble
Meteor Flight Operations and Air Atlantique have made good progress on WA591. It was held up a little by the move from Yatesbury in November but now that the move is complete the pace has begun to pick up again. On completion the Meteor will be operated and part owned by Air Atlantique.
Other Projects
Let us know if your actively involved in restoring a Meteor or Meteor cockpit and I'll post your news and links to your project pages here. We are still keen to support the restoration of WA591 by the Meteor Flight at Kemble but the site now has a wider purpose to encourage and publicise other Meteor restoration projects.
