28th March 1989 Removed from Sentosa island on barge for transport to Queensland Air Museum
4th-7th August 1989 Arrived Brisbane and trucked to Caloundra and cosmetically repainted as WA880
17th April 1996 Trucked to RAAF Amberley to be repainted as A77-721 the first Meteor lost in combat in Korea. Aircraft was to be displayed at Amberley in RAAF 75th anniversary airshow but rain forced cancellation of event. Aircraft returned to Caloundra.
